Your genes live on
Strong, strong woman to have survived so much
You came far
Rode into the sunset
I feel connected to you
Women all around us
Overcome obstacles
I love you
Not in words
But in my heart
My inner whisperings
Cry out your name
When victory is open me

They moved like robots
Unsure and afraid
Willing their bodies to obey the dictates of society and normalcy
Each step became more difficult
Finally he flinched away in embarrassment and disgust
She distanced herself shortly after that
Her pain forever kept inside of her
Only to be exorcised in another lifetime
